Financial Controller (Manchester HQ)

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Close cooperation with Group CFO, local senior management and other team members to help constantly develop Company’s and its subsidiaries’ finance function and contribute to its continuous improvement;
  • Leading month-end closing process
  • Preparing quarterly Group Reporting Packs for the Group (in line with IFRS)
  • Responsible for quarterly intercompany reconciliations
  • Responsible for preparation of annual consolidated financial statements (in line with local GAAP)
  • Responsible for tax calculations and submissions to the relevant authorities
  • Managing annual audits
  • Lead various internal Group projects and improvements initiatives (e.g. BI development, digitalisation, business integration into Group systems etc) – every day brings new challenge!
  • Lead budgeting and budget controlling process, modelling of forecasts;
  • Preparing cash flow and any ad-hoc analysis as well as building various business models requested by management;



Requirements – Experience and technical skills

  • At least 2-3 years experience as senior finance manager/controller/chief accountant or similar in medium or large size international organization
  • Professional finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA etc.) obtained or in the very final stages
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or related subject
  • Good knowledge of IFRS
  • Knowledge of UK financial reporting requirements and tax system
  • Hands on experience with Sage would be considered as an advantage

  • Able to analyse, summarize and present financial information in clear and comprehensive way
