We are currently seeking a Shift leader who is a certifying engineer that will lead and manage the day to day activities of a shift in the line station environment. The role will also include taking on additional administrative and managerial duties including workload management and Documentation control.
What we are looking for:
Qualification & Education:
A recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry or similar.
EASA Part 66 Licence for types relevant to station
A minimum of 5 years hands on experience of certifying Aircraft with an EASA part 66 licence and appropriate company authorisation
Management experience within the aviation industry preferably managing other Licensed Engineers
Training & Knowledge:
Technical experience in aviation and able to demonstrate knowledge of airworthiness regulation, MOE, MEL and its use, SRM understanding and the limits of technical data and the impact of that.
Have a working knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Production Planning;
High standard of English language (written and oral)
High standard of computer literacy, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
