Dean started his commercial aircraft maintenance career as a British Airways apprentice engineer in 1990 and achieved his UK CAA A&C licence. During his time at British Airways Dean also gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies.
In 2004, he joined British Midlands (BMI) where he progressed to Quality Manager Part-145/Part M for a fleet of 40+ of aircraft. Leaving BMI in 2012 when the airline was acquired by IAG, he worked as a consultant and joined Storm in 2013.
Family man Dean also has a passion for motorcycling; he develops, maintains and races his own machines in the UK, on the Isle of Man and across Europe.
